Suburban Renewal

Starting with a 1970’s Mercer Island tract home, the plan was revised to create open, informal living spaces, a media/playroom that can be closed off with sliding doors, and an art studio space. Exterior clapboard siding was retained, with new windows and fiber-cement panel accents, and concrete landscape walls. Standing seam metal replaced composition roofing shingles. The interior features beechwood cabinets, stainless steel and honed granite counters, and glass tile.
